Bitty Fun Day

I took Ashton to the Bitty Fun Day at the American Girl Store today! We met our friends, Michelle and her daughter, Anna too. The girls colored, enjoyed a story, learned some games & enjoyed some mini muffins and juice!

The fun didn't end there. Ashton's American Girl doll, Samantha, got a makeover! She got a new outfit and went to the hair salon, and she even got a new hairdo! We also took one of Ashton's bitty babies for Reese, and they cleaned her and gave her a cute bow for her hair!



After we got finished, we headed to meet Grammie for lunch. Once we got there, Ashton told me "Thank you SO much for all of the fun things that you did for me, Mom...What a fun day!"

It was a GOOD day!!

Sleep deprived...

When one of the girls doesn't sleep for a couple of nights and pulls at her ears...I am SURE that she MUST have an ear infection!

Reese hasn't been sleeping very well at night. So, I took care of the problem last night! I gave her Motrin, teething tablets & Orajel in an attempt to solve the problem. My solution didn't work well at all! I think that Reese finally went to sleep at 11 last night! So, I took her to the dr today, and she said that she looked GREAT! In fact, her ears were perfect! WHAT?? I just knew that one or both were infected!

The VERDICT...Must be the teeth or the age!

Let's hope it gets better cause Momma needs some sleep!

Little Monkey

I am afraid that the days of the crib might be coming to an end for Miss Reese! REALLY???

I took her to my Mom's house this morning while I went to my doctor's appointment. I called my Mom after my appointment to check on her and see if she went down for her nap okay. Not exactly! My Mom said that she put her down and she was crying. She stood at the door to make sure that she was okay and shortly after she heard a loud noise! She had climbed up and fell out of the crib! This is a little crazy because I was just looking at toddler beds online last night.

She went down for her nap at 3 just fine, and she is still sleeping now! Let's hope that it was a one time thing, and my baby can stay in her crib for a little while longer. I am just not ready for my baby to have a BIG GIRL bed OR FREEDOM in her room! She isn't even 2 yet!

Got grill...

Yep, Reese is wearing the new grill! We took the girls bowling and to play games the other night, and take a wild guess who HAD to have this lovely new toy? It is just a little big for Miss Reese!

Too Sweet...

Reese and I were sitting on the couch this morning just snuggling and watching cartoons. Ashton was still sleeping. Reese was being so sweet! Anyways, I yawned and my eyes watered. I had a tear coming down my face when Reese looked over at me. She looked at me with a very concerned look in her face and said "Mommy happy?". Oh yes, Mommy is very happy...just a yawn. Sweet girl!

Warning...

For those of you (like me) that haven't backed up the information on your computer, do it NOW! My computer has been acting up for awhile now, and Johnny keeps asking me to back up my pictures so that we can take it in to the Geek Squad. I am really not sure how to do it, and I kept asking for him to help me. Anyways, I didn't get it done soon enough and my computer won't even turn on now! I am afraid that I might just lose everything! So, go back up yo stuff!

Lucky Girl

Today was Jersey Day at Ashton's school! GO COWBOYS!! They also get to play in a bounce house & eat Chick-fil-a for lunch! Man, she is one lucky girl today!! By the way, it is the weekend, and I am FINALLY feeling soooooooooo much better! WOO HOO!!

SICK of being sick...

I was really looking forward to Monday, January 7 for at least a week. I had a babysitter coming to watch Reese, and Ashton started back to school! Yea...finally some "me time" after 2 1/2 weeks of Christmas break! I was planning to do a little shopping, get a pedi and whatever else I felt like doing! Well, the plans changed as soon as I started coughing and feeling miserable on Sunday. Instead of playing, I went to the doctor and the pharmacy to get my medicine for bronchitis! Yuck. I am not sick very often...THANK GOODNESS! This has not been a fun week! I am sick of being sick, and I am ready to feel good again! I am ready to go out and play!

New Year's Eve Party

We had a great time ringing in the New Year with some good friends! I am feeling really old though because I was having a tough time making it until midnight!

Thank you very much to Mom and Dad for lettng Reese join in on your New Year's Eve dinner and have a sleepover and Gran for having Ashton over for a private party and sleepover! The girls also had a lot of fun being spoiled on New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year!! Looking forward to even more fun times in 2008!!
