Little cutie...

I LOVE the very 1st pigtails!! So, I attempted pigtails in Reese's hair! They are tiny! It is just funny to me because Ashton's first pigtails were around 9 months of age, and she had so much more hair!

I cannot believe how quickly a year has gone by...Our baby girl is one year old already!

The girls rooms...

Thankfully, I convinced Johnny to hire a painter, and they have finished Reese's pink/brown stripes & Ashton's PINK room that she requested! Now, we just need to finish decorating the walls! They also painted the Master bedroom & bathroom and finished the last little bit in the kitchen!! Yea!! Now, Johnny just needs to finish glazing the kitchen, and we will be done painting for a bit.

Then, we can move on to the Dining room, powder bath and media room. What fun!

Just 3 nights...

Ashton and her friend, Anna, have something in common! They both LOVE to come to their parents bed in the middle of the night. Well, Anna's parents made a deal that they could go to Chuck-e-Cheese if she slept in her bed ALL night for 3 nights in a row. After playing with Anna last week, Ashton thought that we should try it out too! Not a bad idea! She did very well, and she slept in her bed Thursday, Friday and Saturday night! YEA!! So, we convinced her that Gatti Town would be just as much fun, and we headed there for dinner last night!! She had a lot of fun and got some great prizes too!!

She also slept in her bed all night last night too! I suggested Maggie Moo's next, but she REALLY wants to go to Chuck-e-Cheese! Hey, if we can get into a routine and all get more sleep...I am all for it!!

...when your daughter decides it is fun to rub her hands all in her hair when it is NOT bath night!! Mandarin oranges were ALL over her hair!!

Poor little eyes. You can tell she wasn't feeling too good!!

Just checking in...

I am still here! Just a little sleep deprived after the last couple of nights! Poor Reese has been sick, and she hasn't been sleeping very well at night. I took her to the doctor yesterday, and he said it was a cold that had progressed into her chest (BRONCHIOLITIS). So, he prescribed zithromyacin and albuterol. I told the dr. that Albuterol made Ashton very, very hyper and jittery! I didn't like the way it made her feel, and she didn't like it either! He said that it is different with every child and just start with a small dose. Well, it apparently affects Reese the same way! I gave her a small dose at 6:30, and she was practically crawling up the walls! She was all over the place and breathing heavily! She couldn't calm down enough to go to sleep! After several attempts, she finally went to sleep at 10:30 last night and was up several times though the night! I didn't give her any of the steroid today. She seems to be feeling better...thank goodness! I better go to bed just in case she doesn't sleep tonight!!

OH YEAH...

I am feeling a small sigh of relief! We have a CONTRACT on our house in Cypress!! Yea!! I know that we are not in the clear just yet, but we are much closer than we have been. They have been pre-approved, and they are relocating from NY! So, I don't foresee any problems. Just saying a little prayer that all goes smoothly!!

If we get a second house again, I would prefer it to be on a lake or a very nice beach!!

Fun Friday...

We went to the Butterfly exhibit at the mall on Friday! We met Grammy, Aunt Julie and Makenna at the mall for lunch and to see thousands of beautiful butterflies!! We had a good time!!

Breakfast with Daddy!

One of the fun things about Johnny's new job is that he gets to stay home for breakfast one day a week! What a treat. The girls are always very excited to spend some time with Daddy, and I enjoy it too! This morning, we had kolaches and fresh strawberries! Yummy. Thanks for a fun morning, Johnny!! These days mean so much to all 3 of us!!

Back to reality!

Yes, we did make it back safely from Mexico!! We had a GREAT time!! We stayed at a very nice hotel, had a massage on the beach, ate some very good food, shopped a little, went swimming with the dolphins (very cool) and relaxed on the beach!! What's better than that? It was nice to get back and see the girls!! Now, we are just "trying" to get organized and back into the swing of things!

Oh yeah, I NEED some help PLEASE!! Johnny's Birthday is on Saturday, and I can't seem to come up with any creative ideas for a gift! Any ideas??
