One year ago...

Wow! I cannot believe how much the girls have changed in just one year! Here are some pictures of Ashton and Reese last Halloween as a flower and a princess! Reese sure was tiny, and Ashton has gotten so tall too!

My little pumpkins...

We made one more trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday! We needed to get a bigger pumpkin to carve, and I needed some annual pictures (of course)! The girls were funny. Ashton was trying to tie a string onto a pumpkin and pull it, and Reese kept throwing her little pumpkin. I guess she thought it was a ball! We are all really enjoying this cooler weather!! Happy Fall to you all!!

I didn't think that I would ever called a sippy cup stylish, but this is pretty darn cute!! What do you think?

Cool day...

I think that the high today was 60 degrees (which was at midnight as the front passed through)! Apparently, it didn't get over 57 degrees! It was GREAT!! I LOVE being able to wear jeans and a LONG-SLEEVED shirt! I don't think that would have happened for at least another month in Houston. Here are the girls in their Fall clothes this morning! Ashton was also very excited that it was cool outside!

The Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun with the Dennis family...going to the pumpkin patch, bowling, shopping, getting a pedicure and catching up! I have been going non-stop since you guys left since I participated in my first gift market with Narci on Saturday all day. I just wanted to thank you for coming to see us!!

We had a great time...Can't wait to see you again soon in SA!!

How funny is this face? She got the plate off of the table and was standing in front of the refrigerator ready for some breakfast! Funny girl!!

They are on their way...

Johnny just picked the Dennis girls up from the airport, and they are headed to our house! YEA!! Reese and I stayed home so that I could finish up around the house, and she is taking a good nap! So excited to see our friends and catch up!!

Little Artists

Ashton loves to do anything crafty! So, after being home all day yesterday and getting a little stir crazy, I decided we should sit down and paint together. I also wanted both of the girls to paint a picture together for my artwork picture frame. I painted Reese's hands and did her handprints a couple of times. I thought she would be finished, but she wanted to paint more! I had no idea that she would love painting so much at only 16 months! She sat there for a good 30 minutes painting! I kept asking if she was done, and she would say "uh-uh!". Too cute!

I am trying to get a good shot of Reese for a baby hat photo contest. I didn't quite get it this morning, but there were a couple of cute shots. I think that I will have to try again later today!

We got Boo'd...

We have been getting our stuff together to Boo some friends and neighbors! We are planning to do it tomorrow night, but Ashton was very excited when WE got BOO'd tonight! Thank you very much to the Gregorys for the fun stuff!! What a neat tradition!!

A good day...

Reese and I went shopping at Target today after dropping Ashton off at school. Surprise, surprise! We were about to check out when I overheard the cashier talking about the new store opening. I knew that it was supposed to open in October, but you know how that goes. She said that they are having a party on October 9 from 5-9 with food and drinks, and they are opening on October 12!! WOO HOO! That just MADE my day!! I have been SO excited about MY Target opening since it is literally across the street from our neighborhood! Ashton says that it is not MY Target...She says that we have to share it! Okay, okay. This could be very dangerous though! CAN'T WAIT!!

Ashton has school pictures today! I can almost guarantee that this pic is going to be far better than the one that they take. I am not usually very impressed with the school pictures. Oh well...What do you do?

Super Mom

Well, my cape was flying high this morning! Reese woke up bright and early at 6 this morning! I did stuff around the house and made the girls some breakfast, checked my e-mail, ate something myself and baked some sausage rolls for the Mom's Club brunch! Then, Ashton asks me if I can make her a shirt to go with her pink skirt to wear TODAY! Guess what? I did it...in between cooking sausage rolls and trying to get myself ready! Am I nice or WHAT? Then, I had all of 10 minutes to finish getting ready and change Reese's diaper before we headed out the door to the brunch! The brunch was fun! Now, the girls are actually playing really well together, and I am taking a moment to BREATHE!! I need to take my cape to the cleaners...
