Adios...

We are off to Playa del Carmen bright and early in the morning! YEA!! I am so ready for a vacation it isn't even funny. This could not have come at a better time since I was in Houston alone with the kids for 1 1/2 weeks and then we just moved! Yeah, it has been a little stressful!!

I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend with Johnny---just sitting on the beach with a cocktail in hand!!

ADIOS until Sunday!!

Short like Mommy's...

Ashton has been asking all week to get her hair cut short just like mine! So, I finally decided to get it done yesterday, and they cut 3 inches off!! Here she is with her sassy new haircut!!

I think that it is time to baby proof our house! This was Reese within about 30 seconds...

I was checking my e-mail while Reese was napping! I came in to see if she was ready to go take some pics in the bluebonnets as soon as Reese woke up. This is what I found...I guess this is what happens when you are cooped up in a house full of boxes for a week!!

Back in the Big D...

Well, it was quite an adventure getting back, but we are here and trying to get settled!!

The movers finished up packing early and decided to go ahead and move and unload all in one day! We finished cleaning up and headed North about an hour behind the movers. It wasn't the best timing since we hit rush hour in Conroe. Actually, I think it is always rush hour in Conroe though. So-no big deal!! Or maybe it was a big deal. I was following Johnny when the traffic came to a stop. I stopped and was sitting there for a minute when I heard a CRASH. I looked in my rear view mirror and about that time I got hit!! We are all okay...thank goodness!! Reese was pretty startled, but Ashton was just worried that we were going to jail! She was also very anxious to see the policeman. I was pretty sore, but I mainly just wanted to get on the road and to our house safely at that point!

Thankfully, my Mom came to meet the movers since we were stuck in Conroe filling out police reports and being checked out by the paramedics! We finally arrived safe and sound around 10:30 after leaving at 4! So glad to get out of the car!!

Our house is coming right along! We won't have internet, cable or phone service hooked up until Friday. So, I have been having withdrawl symptoms without any technology. I was SO excited about 30 minutes ago when I decided to just try to see if I could get service and it CONNECTED!! Yea!!

I will send some pics of the house as soon as I can pull my self away from my computer and open boxes and straighten up a bit!!

We are packing up and moving out!

Johnny and I decided to go ahead and bump the move up a week! We weren't sure if it would be feasible or not, but Johnny called me Monday night to tell me that the movers would be here at 7am on Wednesday! Okay. I wasn't quite prepared, but it will all work out! They are here packing right now. They will load it tomorrow and move it on Friday! So, we will have a
fun-filled weekend of unpacking!!

I already can't wait to get settled in our new home!!

Happy Easter!!

I hope you all had a good weekend and a Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful weekend!!

We started out our weekend by heading to Dallas on Thursday! Then, we closed on our house on Friday morning! Yea!! Now, we just need to sell our house in Houston! Let's hope that happens very soon!!

We worked on picking out colors for our new house, but we didn't really make any progress just yet. It was tough since I feel like we just picked colors in our current house. I love our colors now, but I always want to change it up a bit! So, I have some decisons to make in the next couple of days!

We also got together with family for a couple meals, watched a little snow IN APRIL, I enjoyed a hot stone pedicure with my Mom and sister (It was GREAT!), decorated Easter Eggs with the cousins, had an Easter Egg Hunt, went on a mini-date with Johnny while GG & Poppy watched the girls and enjoyed being with and having help from Johnny and my parents!

I had to shoot the Easter Bunny an e-mail, and he made it to Grammy and Papa's house...thank goodness!!

Good night!! I better go get some rest before the girls and I head back to Houston in the morning! One more week until we will move back to the big D!!

Photo session gone bad...

My great plan to have pictures taken with the live bunnies didn't work out so well! We talked with the manager when we made the appt so that we could get a more experienced photographer. Well, Reese got up late this morning (which meant she napped late). So, we had to call and go in a little later than planned! This also meant that we got the college student photographer, and I think that I could have done a better job! I will give her a little credit because my oldest daughter wasn't exactly the easiest subject today! She said that she was scared of the bunny, and she wouldn't sit still for the poor girl! I'm not so sure what got into her.

Anyways, we left the picture place and went to eat some lunch! Yea. While we were there, Ashton saw a little boy with bunny ears on and decided that she wanted to have pics with the Easter bunny because HE isn't scary! WHAT...I think he is scarier that the cute little (live)bunnies at Studio One!

Anyways, we finally finished with lunch, the Easter Bunny and that darn picture place....AND all we ended up with is a picture with the silly bunny in a costume! Reese came very close to crying, and I don't blame the poor girl!!

What a day!!
