Ashton's school is having a Spirit Night at a local restaurant tonight! So, I thought it would be fun to show our spirit! We've got spirit yes we do, we've got spirit, how about you?

Oh yeah, that also means that I don't have to cook tonight! Woo hoo!!

My Little Gymnast

Ashton started taking gymnastics again a couple of weeks ago, and Reese reaaaally wanted to go too! I was trying to decide between gymnastics and Kindermusik, but she helped me in making the decision! I made her a custom wee-a-tard that she tried on and wouldn't take it off last night, and she was so excited to go to her very own m-nastics class this morning! She had so much fun!!

Homework

Ashton's 1st homework assignment was due today! So, we sat down and worked together last night to complete her "All About Me" project! I had a lot of fun...This is my kind of homework!!

Exciting news...

My sister called me today with some very exciting news! She put me on speaker phone, and my nieces told me that they were going to have a baby brother or sister!! We are SO excited to welcome another niece or nephew into the family in May 2009!!

Day 2

Reese was excited to go back to school until it was really time to go! She picked out her own outfit, and we went outside to play and take a couple of pictures. She was so happy and running around until we came back in. When we came inside, she was on the floor kicking and crying that she didn't want to go. We pulled up to school, and she said "I don't want to go to school!". It didn't help that we heard screaming all the way to her classroom, and every child was crying when we walked into her room. So, I left my baby screaming and crying too! I held it together until I made it to the car and called Johnny. Then, I had some tears myself. I am just hoping that she gets used to it quickly and is waving goodbye to me before too long!

School days

I still can't believe that my baby started preschool today! Is she really old enough? It sure doesn't seem like it, but she was so excited to go to school! She went right in and sat down for a snack. They had animal crackers, and then they played with playdoh. She asked for us not to go. We stayed for just a bit and then headed out (without any crying or tears). Then, we heard "the cry" as we were signing her out! I don't think that she realized we were really leaving until we were in the hallway. Thankfully, I had Johnny with me to hold my hand. No, I didn't cry...but I was worried about my baby!

We looked at houses just for fun, I did a little monogramming and organizing in my study, signed Ashton up for soccer and went out to lunch before heading to pick up Reese!

I was very anxious to see how her very 1st day of school went, and I was very happy to hear that it was GREAT!! She didn't cry for very long at all, and she had a very good day! She was also one of the first kids to fall asleep and one of the last to wake up from her nap...Yea!
